Technology Department

Chenderit's Design and Technology department is the place where students learn about the world around them through the development of practical skills and theoretical knowledge.  Lessons are purposeful, practical, challenging and fun and are about students becomeing self-motivated, creative, problem solvers.  Design and Technology lessons are a great way for students to make strong connections across their learning, including with subjects such as English, Maths, Science and Art.  

Design and Technology is about developing an understanding of processes we sometimes take for granted and about creating unique solutions to existing real-world challenges.  Our department contains a broad range of different specialisms, all of which share common themes, ideas and principles.
