Religious Studies Department

The Religious Studies Department aims to inspire students to ask questions about the world around them and develop a greater knowledge and understanding of the beliefs and practices of the different religions and worldviews that exist in Modern Britain today.

We aim to develop respect, tolerance and understanding from students, encouraging them to evaluate and make reasoned judgements on religious issues. Students will also develop analysis and critical thinking skills in order to adopt a philosophical approach to their studies.
